Volunteers needed for 2024!
Our Volunteers are an essential part of our RDA, without them we couldn’t possibly function.
​
We are looking for people who have a passion for volunteering with children and animals, who enjoys an opportunity to be outside and be physically active. Sessions typically run during term time, in school hours. Some evening and weekend sessions too.
​
If you have a spare couple of hours a week join us to:

Horsley, Bookham and Leatherhead RDA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All RDA volunteers are subject to a DBS check and satisfactory references.

Coach
Our aim is to deliver the best possible experience to participants, with sessions that reflect each individual’s needs, aspirations and therapeutic goals.

HBL RDA Coach
Lead Walker / Side Walker
To assist in the smooth and safe running of the riding lesson by leading a pony, side walking with a rider or assisting the coach during the lesson.
You'll be enthusiastic and flexible volunteers, available on a regular basis as a Leader and Side Walker.
A passion for volunteering with children and animals, who enjoys an opportunity to be outside and be physically active. Experience of working with horses and ponies is not essential and training will be given.

Fundraiser
Join us at one of our many fun events to help collect funds, engage with the community or sell raffle tickets.
​
If you can't commit on the day, we're always looking for good raffle prizes or cakes to be sold at our fundraising events.
